小升初择校，优质校爆满，薄弱校面临垮掉

广州市“小升初”划片招生报名登记已结束，某三阳路附近一所薄弱初中生源流失严重：按划片招生服务范围，学校应招600余新生，但前来登记的仅80人左右。该校一位负责人无奈地说：“学生大多择校到其他优质初中去了！” 　　前日上午，记者在该校看到，正对校门的一栋教学楼，一楼的5间教室都有老师上课或学生自习，乍一看，还以为该校是在进行暑期补课，实际上，该层楼共有7间教室租给了一家培训机构，上课的也是该培训机构的学生。此外，操场东边还有一栋12间教室的教学楼完全闲置。全校2栋教学楼30多间教室，除出租的外，实际用于该校教学的只有18间。“全校教室一共可以容纳1200多人，但在校生只有400多人。那么多的教室空置，总不能浪费吧？”该校一位负责人说，“如果生源充足，哪里还会有教学楼出租？”他介绍，近几年，“小升初”“择校热”愈演愈烈，而该校附近又恰好有七一中学、二中初中部等几所优质初中，不少成绩优秀的学生都被吸引走了；成绩一般的学生，只要是家庭经济条件承受得起，也通过借读方式进了优质初中。　　该负责人说，今年按划片招生计划，该校本应招600余新生，但现在登记的只有80人左右，预计最终只能招到100多人，生源大多为下岗家庭、农民工家庭子女，这种状况已持续3年以上了。而上世纪80年代该校在校生人数最多时曾超过2000人，“当时不兴择校，生源充足，学校的教学质量也较高。” 　　据该负责人介绍，该校每学期收费只有300多元，而相邻的某优质初中3年收费过万元，两者差距悬殊。　　“谁又愿意花高价择校呢？但对口学校教学质量较差，只能费心费力把孩子往优质学校送了。”一位学生家长表示：“如果能缩小校际办学差距，家长自然不会择校了。”
